The New Bremen Coffee Co and Books always has something in store for local folks to enjoy and these two upcoming events are no exception!
On Saturday March 19th, Luan (Henschen) Louis will be on hand to sign her new book "Now is Not Forever - A Grief Journal of Hope." Ms. Louis will be at the coffee shop from 8:30 am until 10:30 am signing copies of her book. Stop in to meet Ms. Louis, buy her book and have a great cup of coffee and a treat.
On Tuesday evening April 5th at 7:00 pm, The New Bremen Coffee Co. and Books will host their annual Poetry Slam. Each participant should have two prepared poems for competition. Adults must have their own work. Students may choose to read their own poem or another's work. Students may also enter as a team. Each competitor will be judged on their performance with top performers being called back to read a second poem. The deadline to enter is March 31, 2011. The cost to enter is $1, gift certificates will be awarded to the winners.
